Overview

In 2019 the NAWIC Orange County chapter kicked off a new initiative with the Thomas House Family Shelter. In support of the Thomas House’s mission to provide a safe, supportive environment for homeless families with children, our chapter has committed to remodeling an eight-unit apartment complex to provide shelter to families in need. To date, we have remodeled SIX units! This year, we agreed to take on two at one time.

In addition to the remodels, we support holiday, food, back to school drives and more. It is a great way for us to give back to the Orange County community.

Donate Gift Cards

As part of our commitment to support the Thomas House families in need, we collect gift cards throughout the year to share with the residents (adults and children) at an annual dinner in August. Please donate gift cards valued at $20-$25 each or make a cash donation for the gift cards to us via Venmo at @nawictreasurer91 with the note for THOUSE Gift cards. Here are some gift card ideas:
