Scholarships

NAWIC Orange County awards a scholarship to a deserving male or female undergraduate or construction trades student each year. They must be enrolled in a US construction-related degree program or an approved construction-related apprenticeship training program in a community college, technical school, or equivalent.  We award this scholarship in memory of Kathryn Clay, one of the founders of the Orange County chapter, who remained an active member well into her 90s.

The award is administered through the NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation (NFSF), recognized by the IRS as a 509(a)(3) Corporation, and all donations are tax-deductible.

If you have questions about the scholarship process or need help with the application, please get in touch with the Scholarship Chair, Izzi Zandvliet.
